  • Description
  • Fluke 2062 Advanced Pro Wire Tracer - CAT IV 600V

    The Fluke 2062 Advanced Pro Wire Tracer provides the highest safety protection rating available (CAT IV 600 V), to accurately troubleshoot energised and de-energised wires in all residential, commercial and industrial environments.  Designed to ensure protection from dangerous levels (up to 8kV) of transient overvoltage that can occur in industrial plants, factories and hospitals etc, where equipment can not be turned off.

    Featuring a Smart Sensor, only available on the 2062 receiver, makes wire tracing much easier and faster.  Using the wire tracer a technician can locate and display energised wires within floors, walls and ceilings on a high resolution 3.5in TFT display.  The receivers GUI also includes help screens which makes the system easy to use, even for a novice.  The tip sensor will provide an audible tone when locating wires but the smart sensor will help visualise and pinpoint the orientation of energised wires.  The Fluke 2062 can find breaks, opens and shorts.

    Four Receiver Tracing Modes

    The 2062 receiver detects the signal in wires and cables using two methods: Passive tracing without a transmitter for non-contact voltage detection; and active tracing using the transmitter.

    • Smart Sensor: mode for energised wire detection and visualisation on the large LCD;
    • Tip Sensor: mode for more precise detection of a wire;
    • Breaker: mode for easy breaker and fuse identification based on the highest recorded signal detected from the transmitter;
    • Non-Contact Voltage Detection: mode to trace energised wires without the use of the transmitter.

    The receiver has eight sensitivity levels allowing more flexibility and accuracy during tracing.

    Three Transmitter Power Modes

    The 2000T transmitter works on energised and de-energised circuits up to CAT IV 600 V.  It features high, low and loop modes:

    • High:  mode for normal energised and de-energised circuits;
    • Low:  mode for precision tracing with a low signal to reduce coupling to nearby wires and metal objects;
    • Loop:  mode for closed loop de-energised circuits.

    The transmitter will automatically sense whether the system is energised and either selects a 6 kHz or 33 kHz frequency.

    Complete Kit

    The Fluke 2062 comes with everything required to be able to start tracing wires and circuits.  Included in the kit is the following:
