The Wire Remote Assessment Toolkit is a toolkit that is able to connect a single use insulation piercing probe (WIPP) onto a 2-4mm dia wire that is difficult to access.  The tool only needs a 10mm dia access space to be able to connect the piercing probe and can reach wires up to 1m away by the use of extension rods.  Once the probe is deployed on to a wire it leaves a trailing test wire that is able to connect to a test meter or instrument to diagnose what the wire is doing. 

To assist in gaining access to a wire the toolkit also has a grabber tool that comes with a small and large grabbers.  This enables a wire to be 'grabbed' and controlled by the grabber.  Once testing is complete the trailing wire or the wire under test can be cut away using the included small or large cutter.

The tool is useful for diagnosing/ testing wires during automotive diagnostics or for applying inputs on wires, such as opening electronic locks.

Toolkit is presented in a case and includes:

• Wire Remote Insulation Piercing Tool with 5 extension rods - The probe deployment tool.
• Wire Remote Grabber and Cutter Tool with 4 extension rods - To grab and cut wires.
• 1 x 0-2mm Grabber and 1 x 2-4mm Grabber
• 1 x 0-2mm Cutter and 1 x 2-4mm Cutter
• 12 x Wire Insulation Piercing Probes (WIPP) - 2 of each 6 colours.
